{"id":1937,"date":"2015-05-19T09:54:00","date_gmt":"2015-05-19T00:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/labor-consultant.com\/wp\/2015\/05\/19\/preventive-measures-for-death-from-overwork-and-other-issues\/?lang=ja"},"modified":"2015-05-19T09:54:00","modified_gmt":"2015-05-19T00:54:00","slug":"preventive-measures-for-death-from-overwork-and-other-issues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/labor-consultant.com\/ja\/2015\/05\/19\/preventive-measures-for-death-from-overwork-and-other-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cPreventive measures for death from overwork and other issues\u201d that companies will be required to take from now on"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>\u25c6Definition of \u201cdeath from overwork and other issues\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>Death from overwork and other issues is defined as \u201cdeath caused by a cerebrovascular disease or heart failure due to work overload; suicide due to a mental disorder caused by a strong psychological burden from work; and these cerebrovascular, heart, and mental diseases themselves.\u201d (According to documents from the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare.)<\/p>\n<h3>\u25c6Approval of the \u201cLaw for the Propulsion of Measures to Prevent Death from Overwork and Other Issues\u201d!<\/h3>\n<p>From the total number of cases of cerebrovascular and heart disease recognized as having their origin in the workplace, 160 cases ended in dead in 2002, and they have kept shifting always above 100 ever since.<br \/>\nIn addition, from the total number of cases of mental disorders recognized as having their origin in the workplace, the number of yearly cases ending in suicide (including failed attempts) surpassed 60 after 2006, becoming as high as 93 in 2012.<br \/>\nThese kinds of deaths caused by overwork and related issues are not of concern to the affected people themselves only, but they are also a great loss to their families and to Japanese society.
